**The Opportunity**
Looking to step away from the tools and move into a supervisory role? This is your chance to bring your trade knowledge into a rewarding new career path. We’re seeking a motivated, client-focused Building Supervisor to join our collaborative team. While previous supervisory experience is an advantage, it’s not essential—if you have strong building experience, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for customer service, we’ll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
**The Role**
In this role, you’ll oversee small to medium insurance repair projects, ensuring they’re delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting property inspections and assessments
- Preparing detailed scopes, quotes, and reports for allocated jobs
- Coordinating subcontractors, ordering materials, and managing job site activities
- Monitoring timelines, budgets, and quality control
- Communicating effectively with clients, insurers, and subcontractors
- Meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Servicing Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, and/or Gold Coast regions
**What You’ll Bring**
- Minimum 5 years’ building/trade experience
- Cert IV in Building and Construction (or currently studying)
- Strong trade management and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Customer-focused, professional approach
- Competence with technology (smart devices, job management systems)
- Current and valid driver’s license
