We are currently seeking a dynamic State Promotions Specialist on full time basis based in Gepps Cross, SA to execute national promotions & supporting the state to grow state based promotional programs.

This role partners with Retailers, State, Channel & National Teams to drive promotional growth for the state.

What you’ll do

Proactively work with varying teams to support state execution of strategies and projects
Work with the National State Promotions Manager to deliver improved promotional performance including: Analyse, Plan & Report, Retail and Wholesale promotional sales performance and GP$. performance of various promotional mechanics; State based activities & catalogue and Channel Promotional support.
Lead State Retailer Committee Meetings as required, prepare Promotional results presentations & partner with Retailers on Promotional opportunities
Perform promotional tasks including catalogue checks, pricing, stock availability, allocations and queries
Collaborate with the National Promotions & Trading Teams.

What you’ll bring

5+ years’ experience in a similar sales or promotions role in FMCG will be preferable
Strong communication skills, confident presenting in large meetings & forums
Able to build partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.
A collaborative style that supports teams and colleagues.
The drive to seek continuous improvement and identify new opportunities
A results focus that seeks the best outcomes for all stakeholders
Understanding of the Independent Retailer network and shoppers.
An understanding of the processes involved in managing promotions and pricing in catalogue & print production.
Able to manage time in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining accuracy & attention to detail
