Whilst you'll work within a team, you'll be trusted to take ownership of your own portfolio which in turn will expand on your career experience.

The business is established and successful with operations across NSW and Qld and given their expansion they have invested in a new location in Brisbane to accommodate the needs of a growing organization.

**_What you'll be doing:_**

You'll be working within a busy team where you'll own your part of the business and provide end-to-end AP and AR, work on reconciliations, manage external relationships, and increase your knowledge and skills by supporting the wider function with assistance with BAS and GL reconciliations. In addition, you'll get involved in analysis and work with the business on recommendations.

You'll also get involved in a small amount of payroll - which is where the career development shines; you don't need to have worked in payroll previously as they will provide you with training.

**_ Who you are:_**

You need to have previous AP & AR experience (at least 2 years) combined with the desire to learn payroll - you do not need to have had payroll experience. This role will present you with an excellent opportunity to develop your skills.

You'll be someone who has a curious mindset with a desire to investigate the numbers and details and be able to identify discrepancies. You'll also be a team player who is a strong communicator - you'll liaise with numerous people inside and outside of the business and provide crucial support to the Finance team.
