**Lindsay Transport is currently seeking experienced MC Truck Drivers to join our Sydney Depot.**
**This is an exciting opportunity to join an industry leading transportation company and play a key part in assisting hundreds of Australian businesses every day to meet their logistics and transportation needs.**

**About Lindsay Transport**:
With over 65 years’ experience, The Lindsay Group, proudly operates an extensive national logistics network across various locations covering regional communities. Lindsay Transport is the largest transporter of fresh produce in Australia, specialising in temperature sensitive, time-slotted freight into Central Markets and major Grocery Distribution Centres to help our customers best meet their national supply chain needs.

Today we employ over 1500 exceptional individuals, with roughly 35% based in Regional Australia, and together we service over 1.5 million tonnes of temperature-controlled freight every year across the country.

**About the role**:
Duties you can expect with this role include:

- Working with temperature sensitive produce for local runs
- Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight
- Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork including the use of in-vehicle technology
- Interacting with clients in a professional manner
- Working closely with Depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight

**About the requirements**:

- Have a current MC licence
- Have a commitment to workplace health and safety
- Be reliable and punctual with good communication skills
- Have a strong customer focus
- Knowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systems.
- A commitment to workplace health and safety

To be successful for this role applicants must:

- Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
- Provide a current traffic print out
- Be well presented, professional and reliable
- Experience transporting chilled freight, frozen freight or livestock is highly respected
