What's the role?

We are seeking experienced & locally-based MC Drivers & Loader & Dozer operators to join the well-established Qube team to operate prime movers hauling coal in the Fassifern area.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:

  • Current MC Drivers Licence (for MC applicants)
  • Prior Loader & Dozer experience (for machine operator applicants)
  • Experienced in driving heavy bulk vehicles and other heavy machinery 
  • Knowledge and understanding of applicable Commonwealth/State Safety and Environmental legislation and standards, Main Road Heavy vehicle legislation and permitting standards 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with drivers
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of work completed
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • Have an ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Have a positive attitude

The following is preferable, but not essential and we will provide training for:

  • Order 43 Coal Medical (must have ability to pass)
  • Side-tipping experience
