Mediadvice Pharmacy Lurnea is a community pharmacy that plays a primary role in the Healthcare Sector. We are a small community pharmacy that pride ourselves in the provision of tailored healthcare services to Lurnea and its surrounding suburbs. Some of the services include dose administration aids, pharmacist consultations, medication reviews and management, local delivery services and vaccinations.
We’re on the lookout for a motivated Pharmacy Technician (Dispensary Technician) to join our welcoming team. If you’re passionate about pharmacy and enjoy working in a supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you
**Responsibilities**:
- _Dispensary duties which include filling and labelling prescriptions, taking in and handing out prescriptions._
- _Assisting the pharmacist with dispensary orders, stock management, medication storage, and record-keeping._
- _Providing advice on products and educating patients on common health problems._
- _Assisting in the preparation and provision of dose administration aids._
- _Assisting in the provision of home deliveries including filling orders and medical supplies._
Skills Required:
- Successful applicants must have:_
- _Pharmacy experience with a minimum 2 years of dispensary experience as well as dose administration knowledge is essential._
- _Certificate IV in Community Pharmacy Dispensary or equivalent is essential._
- _Good customer service and communication skills in order to carry out duties is essential._
- _Familiarity with Z dispense or similar dispensing programs is desirable._
