**About the Company**:
Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

**The Role**:
We are currently looking for Disability Support Workers to partner with a 24-year-old male participant based in Burbank, QLD. Our participant has suffered a brain injury as a result of a motor vehicle accident back in 2017. The participant is very friendly and easy to talk to, he enjoys riding his electric skateboard, socialising with friends and going to the gym. Although the participant is quite independent, he has still been assessed as requiring up to 35 hours of care each week, which would include assistance with independent living skills, domestic tasks, community access and companionship. This role is ongoing, the days & hours right now are flexible but will most likely be afternoon shifts.

Ideally, we are looking for Support Workers who are active, physically fit and are comfortable learning how to ride an electric skateboard.

**Pay Rates**:

- Day - **$36.25 **per hour
- Afternoon - **$39.88** per hour
- Saturday - **$50.75** per hour
- Sunday - **$65.25** per hour

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assistance with domestic tasks (Cooking, Cleaning, Laundry etc.)
- Assistance with independent living (Budgeting, grocery shopping, meal prep etc.)
- Community access + health and rehab appointments
- Companionship

**Skills & Experiences**:

- Australian Driver Licence
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Blue Card
- Current Yellow Card
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
