We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Auto Technician to join and work with our team of hardworking professionals who share a common drive to make a difference in the industry.

The role includes but is not limited to:

- Maintain, test and repair petrol engines and the mechanical parts of lightweight motor vehicles such as transmissions, suspension, steering and brakes.
- Use computerised diagnostic tools to identify problems with petrol engines and mechanical parts of motor vehicles
- Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts, and reassembling mechanical components referring to service manuals as needed
- Develop and implement mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns of motor vehicles
- Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
- Complete and maintain service and inspection documentations ensuring its compliance
- Ensure vehicles meet safety and quality standards
- May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness
- May respond to motor vehicle breakdown service calls
- Maintain a tidy work environment and adhering to health and safety regulations.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- Relevant automotive certifications or trade qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive technology and trends
- Competency using diagnostic equipment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable
- Must have great work ethics

**Salary**: Between $70,000 and $75,000 per annum + Super

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
