**The Opportunity**:
Currently, we are seeking a dynamic production technician to complement our growing team. Numerous roles will be based out of Sydney Melbourne and Brisbane. We have secured several large projects across Australia & are looking for individuals who are seeking a new challenge.

In this role you will work across several areas of our operations to aid & develop your skills in our unique industry.

**Your responsibilities in this role include**:

- On site and in-house inspections including organisation of works, tools, and equipment.
- Installation work as required.
- Studying drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations, and machine settings.
- checking fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using precision measuring instruments.
- Install manufactured Systems on a customer site.
- Manufacturing/ production work as required.
- Follow/set up NATA/LEEA testing recommended policies and procedures.
- Ensure all testing is completed to required standards.
- Create and maintain all associated registers as required by relevant standards and for Ranger’s customers.
- Height safety inspections (including harnesses, lanyards, etc.) & installations.
- Lifting gear test, tag & repair
- Proof loading testing & reporting.

Base Salary for these roles will be between $70,000 - $80,000.00 per annum depending on experience and qualifications. Opportunities for over-time are also available. Please note that is full-time position only currently.

**What you will bring to Ranger**
- Previous experience in a mechanical fitting or engineering role.
- An understanding of Australian or ISO lifting Standards
- High Risk Licence (Dogging/Basic rigging or higher).
- Natural mechanical aptitude.
- EWP ticket (can be provided).
- Working at heights ticket (can be provided).
- General Safety Induction in the Construction Industry
- Commitment to safety
