**Procurement Business Partner**
**Hours**: Full-time, 38 hours per week with hybrid working arrangements

**Contract Length**: Temporary contract - ASAP Start, 6-month contract

**Location**: Western Suburbs Melbourne, Local Council

**About Our Client**: Our client is a prominent organization committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. With a dedication to community welfare and sustainable development, our client strives to foster a vibrant and inclusive environment for all.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our client's team as a Procurement Business Partner. In this role, you will be instrumental in facilitating procurement activities in alignment with organizational goals and industry standards. Your responsibilities will include tendering, requests for quotation (RFQ), contract preparation, compliance management, stakeholder engagement, and more.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Partnering with key stakeholders to facilitate procurement activities
- Conducting tendering processes and managing RFQs
- Preparation and review of contracts, exemptions, extensions, and variations
- Ensuring compliance with procurement regulations and standards
- Providing training and support to staff on procurement processes
- Generating reports and analysis to support decision-making

**Job Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in Government, Healthcare, Education, NFP, or Public Sector procurement roles
- Strong understanding of the Strategic Procurement lifecycle and Australian Probity Standards
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and negotiation skills
