**THE OPPORTUNITY**

**Salary**:$78,564 - $111,391 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience)
**Time Fraction**:Part Time, 0.2 EFT.
**Location**:Glen Waverley campus.
**Police Check**: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check
**WWCC**: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
**Position Status**:Contract of employment to 31 December 2025. Please note, this is a maternity leave coverage.

The Department of Lifestyle, Tourism and Events provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links. The department is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to effectively design and teach theoretical and practical sessions, to students in Certificate II in Salon Assistant.

As a key participant in the learning process, you will engage with students from course inquiry through to assessment, tailoring your approach to individual educational needs to achieve optimal learning outcomes for students.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Experience in implementing the latest training and assessment strategies to meet student and course requirements.
- Relevant industry qualification and an understanding of contemporary teaching and learning methodologies.
- Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided.
- Experience as a teacher of vocational and/or higher education and training programs.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE 40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications.
