We are looking for an experienced and professional strategic marketing leader to join our Marketing, Brand and CX Team in this newly created, permanent role.

As Growth Marketing Lead - Corporate and Overseas, this role will set the direction and marketing strategy for key Medibank programs and initiatives designed to achieve our growth agenda and shift us toward our 2030 Vision, with a focus on acquisition and member retention for the Corporate and Overseas portfolios. The role will work with the Corporate and Overseas hub leadership team to provide strategic direction and advice on the marketing strategy to achieve customer and business outcomes as well as ensuring that customer understanding, insight and experience is embedded into the marketing planning and design process.

The Marketing Lead will also lead a high performing, well established team of Marketing Managers and Specialists to create and manage programs that help the business with their new join and retention aspirations.

Day to day, your key responsibilities would include:

- Leading the development and alignment between the Growth Marketing team efforts and Medibank’s overall strategic and marketing ambitions and imperatives.
- Create a holistic GTM acquisition strategy and plan to launch all major new Medibank products and programs across the corporate and overseas portfolios.
- Pro-actively shaping strategic acquisition, cross sell and retention programs via influence in the design, build and delivery phases.
- Working with a range of stakeholders across the business and being able to manage, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels.
- Taking some time to recharge your batteries and encouraging others to do the same - you might grab a takeaway coffee and head out for a walking one on one with a team member, go for a lunchtime run or logging in for the day after you’ve been to your childs school assembly.
- Prioritising initiatives across the team and ensure Always On programs are frequently optimised.

This role would be a perfect match for a seasoned, well rounded, strategic marketing professional with solid experience in sales marketing, ideally built in a large corporate environment. B2B and B2C experience would be especially well regarded. You’ll be a pro at developing and setting strategies as well as engaging stakeholders to get onboard and bring them to life, on time and budget. There are some exciting projects in the pipeline that would see project management skills put to good use. Strong relationship building skills and the ability to interact with and influence across all levels are essential, as are well developed people leadership skills.
