**The Role**
**You will be responsible for**:
- Clinical and business workflow analysis and documentation in realtion to administrative, surgical and inpatient workflows including clinical documentation, admissions and Health Information Management
- Gathering and interpreting clinical and business requirements in relation to clinical systems
- The development of training materials and delivery of training to end users
- Post-implementation support activities
- Any other emerging tasks as requested by the Manager of Clinical Applications Team in relation to changing business needs
**Essential Skills and experiences**:
- Working knowledge of clinical workflows, particularly around anaesthetics or intensive care and medications management
- Excellent business process analysis skills
- Previous experience working with an EMR in a hospital e.g. Meditech, Cerner
- Understanding of clinical practices and the role of clinical information systems in the provision of patient care
- Previous business analysis experience within a health care setting; translating clinical or administrative requirements into a technical system
- Excellent documentations skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team
- The ability to work independently, to take initiative and ownership of assigned work
**Desirable Criteria**
- Background in a clinical, health information management or hospital administration role
- Previous knowledge or experience in the delivery of cancer care
- Experience in producing clinical workflows and documenting business processes
