**The role**
You will provide Positive Behaviour Support across community settings. Typical work includes:

- Perform functional behaviour assessments to understand the causes and triggers of challenging behaviours
- Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans aligned with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements
- Help participants develop emotional regulation, communication, and daily living skills to increase independence
- Coaching and training for participants, families, support workers, and providers
- Collaboration to implement least restrictive strategies and monitor outcomes
- Authorisation processes for any regulated restrictive practices and timely plan reviews
- Clear progress reporting against NDIS goals

**What you will need**
- Relevant tertiary qualification such as Psychology, ABA, Social Work, Special Education, or similar
- Registration or provisional suitability with the NDIS Commission Practitioner Capability Framework
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Police Check within 6 months
- Driver licence and reliable insured vehicle
- Experience writing BSPs and leading capability building is desirable
