Technical Underwriting Associate - Salary between £25,000 - £35,000

Location - UK Flexible

Aviva currently have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Underwriting Associate to join the business on a permanent basis.

This is the perfect next step for someone with Underwriting experience or have had experience dealing with Underwriting queries, who is self-motivated and can help delivery change. The ideal person will have prior knowledge of insurance - or who would like to take the next step in their Underwriting career.

A bit about the job:
You will play a part in helping deliver new products, reviewing underwriting strategy and managing risk mitigation as well has understanding the potential new risks we face with technology.

You will have relationships across a wide range of functions and business areas.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Previously worked a similar role with Underwriting experience or dealing with Underwriting queries- Knowledge of Personal lines (Preferred, not essential)- Ability to be self-motivated- Strong communication skills- Good attention to detail and problem-solving expertise
