**About the role**

The Lead Program Planner is responsible for planning and maintaining planned maintenance programs across the ANZAC Class of Ships and is responsible for ensuring governance to the baseline of maintenance requirements and transparent reporting to all stakeholders.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Initial sequencing of Main Work List and Engineering Change work package development;
- Build and maintain 1 year, 3 year & 5 year Maintenance Plan in AMPS and integrate into OPP along with EC. Task maturity probability focussed;
- Corrective Maintenance “D” Tasks” incorporated into planning once confirmed by Platform and Combat Groups;
- Build and maintain the EC Plan, align with Maintenance plan and ensure integration into OPP;
- Drive maturity of activities to meet planned availability dates & EC Master Change Plan; and
- Consolidated OPP planning and development of MWL’s including AMPS job updates and reflected by CMC.

**About you**

Essential
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or other applicable technical field, or suitable experience that provides similar assurance that Maintenance Planning;
- Experience working within the Australian Defence environment;
- A high degree of and experience with high value, naval ship maintenance and sustainment programs;
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast paced environment with multiple and competing demands;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position;

Desirable
- A strong understanding of the Australian Defence environment and Commonwealth processes;
- Proven ability to, effectively implement change management to deliver efficiencies across the enterprise; and
- Proven ability to maintain contract deliverables to high technical and quality standards.

**Essential Compliance Requirements**:

- Current Motor Vehicle Driver’s Licence;
- Must either hold, or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance; and
- Construction Induction Card (White Card).
