We are looking for a Full Time Lead Educator.

Location: Baldivis South, Perth, WA
Permanent Full time Lead Educator: $$ $37.59 (hourly)

 Essential Qualifications for both roles:

  • Diploma Qualified in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent).

  • A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.

  • First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.

 Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Ability to provide a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all children.

  • Understanding the developmental milestones and needs of children in various age groups.

  • Capability to design, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for children.

  • Ability to work as part of a diverse team.

  • Adaptable to various situations and needs that arise in an early childhood setting.

 Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years.

  • Understanding of the standards and assessment process to ensure quality service.

  • Respect and understanding of diverse cultures, families and individual children's needs.

  • Proficiency in using computers and relevant software to document children's learning and development.

  • Experience as a Lead Educator or similar roles for the Lead Educator role.
