About the role

**Role Location**: may be based in either Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane

**Role Type**: 12 month secondment/Fixed term, Full-time

This is a critical role within the Institutional Capital Reforms Program which has been established to implement new requirements released by APRA under APS 112 and APS 113. Reporting to the Business Director, and leading a team of analysts, this role has accountabilities for all aspects of Data Management and Insights within the Product Management delivery stream.

The role will require you to combine your experience spanning analysis and engineering of systems and/or processes as well as your data skills to execute on program critical activities. As a data driven program of work, you will design, critically assess, and execute data solutions that underpin technical and business process change being implemented across our global lines of business.

Leading a team of Data and Insight Analysts, you will oversee the creation of data sets from multiple source systems, develop solutions that solve for complexity and ambiguity and ensure the end-end delivery of compliant and accurate data.

A key focus of this role with be establishing a reporting framework that will identify progress, emerging trends and risks within program deliverables and extracting key insights that translate to opportunities for efficiency improvement and operational risk mitigation. Further, you will play a critical role in the determination of required data remediation activities.

Whilst supporting several delivery squads with the program, you will also partner with Business, Risk, Enterprise Data Governance and Technology teams to achieve the required outcomes.

Role Accountabilities

This role is accountable for the following in the context of the Institutional Capital Reforms Program:
Frame data in context of business outcomes that support program delivering outcomes which are commercially viable and compliant with Regulatory Standards
Support multiple delivery squads with the delivery of data outcomes - including understanding requirements, mapping, analysing and supporting process resulting in high quality data.
Manage initiatives and issues to drive business value with data as a focus
Critically analyse proposed technical solutions to understand end-end life cycle of data, including requirements for upstream and downstream system and process.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure data outputs are fit for purpose and aligned to expectations
Identification, analysis, and problem solving of data quality issues
Ensure program data is organised, managed, and leveraged to meet compliance obligations
Preparation of timely and complete reporting, fit for circulation to Senior Executive
Provide leadership and direction to a team of Data and Insights analysts.

- Experience in managing and executing data management or governance agendas

Ability to frame data in the context of business outcomes
Experienced in identifying, analysing and resolving data quality issues
Requirement gathering skills and ability to quickly understand new concepts
Comfortable building trusted and productive relationships across the organisation with a strong ability to influence and succeed through collaboration
Experience planning, sizing, and executing activities within Agile delivery
Extensive business analysis experience with understanding of data quality and data protection management practices
An appreciation of all aspects of compliance and operational risk.
