Finance Business Partner

**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner - B2B with sound problem solving and analytical abilities to provide analysis and insight to drive B2B to achieve its financial objectives across the Global Energy Management & Sales (GEMS) ANZ business.

As part of the Finance team, you will partner and be an advisor to the B2B teams and deliver financial forecasts and budgets with a focus on future performance requirements.

The role is accountable to the General Manager Finance GEMS ANZ and the role can be worked flexibly between home and our new Southbank office.

Reasonable requests for part time work will be considered.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development of partnering relationship with the B2B management team and with stakeholders throughout GEMS
- Turn data into insights and use these to provide high quality advice and support in influencing the GBU’s decisions
- Lead and prepare annual budget and medium-term plans to produce an outcome that meets GEMS requirements and sets appropriate targets and objectives for the B2B teams
- Lead and prepare the monthly forecasting process to enable the assessment of B2B’s progress towards its targets and to take appropriate action in light of that information.
- Lead and prepare month end close (together with accounting teams) for B2B, ensuring accuracy of the general ledger and timeliness of the close.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role, you will be experienced in management accounting, project accounting, costing and/or budgeting experience, preferably gained in a project and/or changing environment.

You will have excellent financial acumen with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with others, all whilst effectively solving problems and achieving results.
