**Join Minda’s Envirocare Team supporting our Nursery Operations**

**The Opportunity**:
Minda’s Envirocare team provides grounds maintenance services across Minda sites and externally, within the wider community. To support our garden nursery operations, we are looking for an experienced **Nursery Operations Support Worker.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Mentor, supervise and direct supported employees working in the nursery.
- Maintain a well-presented Nursery ensuring tunnels and work areas meet quality standards.
- Undertake plant care and maintenance and prepare plants for sale.
- Maintain tools and equipment and ensure safe storage of chemicals.
- Undertake irrigation system maintenance and repairs as required.
- Complete documentation including progress notes and incidents.

**What we are looking for**:

- Significant experience in horticulture, preferably in a nursery environment.
- A patient and supportive outlook, with ability to coach, mentor, and direct others.
- Strong time management skills to ensure planning and execution of required works.
- Understanding of safe handling of chemicals and horticultural equipment
- Friendly, approachable and able to build great relationships and a positive team.
- Experience within the disability or similar sectors.

**Desirable**:

- A Certificate III in Horticulture is desirable.
