A fantastic career opportunity has arisen for an accomplished HR Business Partner ANZ to join this fast-paced, globally recognised marketing and creative services organisation.

Providing both strategic and operational support, this standalone role based in Sydney reports to the Head of HR, APAC based in Singapore, working closely with the ANZ Managing Director, and will see you working as part of a broader global HR team.

The HR Business Partner is responsible for all facets of HR as well as delivering effective people related outcomes that contribute successful business outcomes across Australia, and New Zealand. Of particular importance is focus in the areas of employee relations, talent management, HR operations, employee engagement, as well as payroll and provision of day to day advice on HR and disciplinary practices.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Staying informed of internal and external initiatives and changes, and identifying and effectively executing HR’s role in the business
- Supporting strategic business growth - new client implementations as well as existing business expansion
- Engaging with employees at all levels and be a highly credible and open HR leader
- Coaching supervisors and managers on effective interview skills, to use consistent recruitment processes and procedures
- Building career and development plans with employees
- Proactive talent acquisition - keep abreast of ANZ market talent trend and salary benchmarking
- Employee engagement initiatives to grow morale, reduce turnover and encourage high performing employees
- Participation in Asia Pacific initiatives and driving change across the organisation
- Act as a trusted advisor to ANZ Managing Director on talent strategy in line with business objectives
- HR Reporting and payroll

**You will have**:

- Proven experience working as an HR generalist with a minimum of 4 to 5 years’ experience, with at least 3 years working in Australia in a similar role
- Excellent understanding of an operational HR function
- Sound knowledge of Fair Work and NZ employment legislation
- Experience handling payroll for Australia and New Zealand
- A mature approach, discretion and sound judgment and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Experience using Workday and project management experience will be highly regarded
