This exciting role will support Western Health to deliver our Aboriginal Cultural Safety Plan 2022 - 2025, as well as development and delivery of future iterations. We are seeking a skilled project manager with deep understanding of Aboriginal culture, society and kinship networks; coupled with strong stakeholder engagement, problem solving and organisational skills to support relevant teams to deliver on cultural safety actions in a timely manner.
As a member of the Aboriginal Health Leadership Team, the Aboriginal Cultural Safety Lead will also assist with Strategic Planning for the Aboriginal Health Unit by identifying opportunities to embed cultural safety in research, capital projects and consumer care.
The Aboriginal Cultural Safety Lead will support cultural safety training within Western Health's framework for education and training; and have a key role in ensuring Western Health is providing a culturally safe workplace for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees.
