Balwyn, Australia Apples and Sage Full time

The responsibilities of this role are to help customers in identifying and purchasing the products they require while utilising your product knowledge. It is essential that the customer leaves excited about shopping at Apples and Sage.

**Main responsibilities**
- Welcome and greet customers to the store.
- Ascertain the customers needs and wants.
- Help the customer by recommending and selecting and finding the right products with in the store.
- Ability to accurately describe the product features and benefits.
- Ability to comprehensively answer any customer queries regarding the store, its products or services
- Ability to manage point-of-sale processes including register operation, receiving and processing cash, credit or other payments
- Ability to bag or package purchases made by customer.
- Maintain knowledge of any changes in pricing of goods or services.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
- Ability to undertake stock counts.
- Be involved in stock control and management.
- Stocking shelves with merchandise.
- Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor.
- Responsible for security within the store and being on the look out for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc.
- Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock
- Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.

- Have a love of food and cooking.
- Be passionate towards improving our environment
- The ability to work in a team
- Team members should be physically fit as they will be on their feet for most of the day and will be required to manually handle large quantities of stock.
- You should have a comprehensive understanding of the products that you are selling.
- Knowledge of inventory techniques.
- Integrity, honesty, flexibility, good energy levels and ability to deal with stress.

**Salary**: $20.33 - $30.00 per hour
