Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Governance, join TAL on a **nine-month contract** as a Regulatory Adviser. You will be responsible for coordinating regulatory responses, liaising directly with regulators, as well as working with various business units on ASIC and APRA investigations.

In this role you will:

- Coordinate TAL’s responses to regulatory requests and ensure that responses are produced in the appropriate timeframe and in accordance with established governance processes.
- Work with TAL’s Legal and Risk teams to develop and continually refine policies and procedures in respect of regulatory responses.
- Liaise with ASIC, APRA, LCCC and the FSC on data requests including agreeing on scope and definitions.
- With the support of the Legal Team, coordinate TAL responses to ASIC industry investigations including ensuring that the business is fully briefed on requests and can respond within the allocated timeframe.
- Work with key stakeholders to draft ASIC communications.
- Work with the Risk Team on APRA and LCCC investigations and assist with communications.
- Following up on TAL commitments to regulators and briefing key TAL personnel on issues and outcomes.
- Support the Head of Regulatory Governance in all responses including coordinating all business feedback and appropriate signoffs.
- Improve and simplify practices and procedures to achieve efficiencies.

**Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualification in business, legal, risk management or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in financial services including regulatory experience.
- Understand the regulatory landscape, financial services laws and regulator roles and responsibilities.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Strong influencing capability.
- Project management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent ability to plan, prioritise and manage own workloads.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and escalations.
