**About the Role**

As a Project Controls Specialist, you will be working in the rail industry and will use your analytical skills to develop and implement project tools, templates and systems.

**Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to**:

- Managing & processing requisition requests, vendor purchase orders and invoices
- Managing and collating weekly and monthly reports with relevant data
- Coordinating toolbox talks and project updates
- Drafting agendas, organising meetings & minutes taking.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Organising travel and accommodation for staff training/working at other locations
- Event coordination including arranging catering
- Assisting with inductions, onboarding requirements and training support for new employees/team members
- Assisting with leave/TIL management & coordinating access to the team's pool car
- Assisting with timesheet support; collating data for reports including review/analysis of timesheets
- Assisting with creating new projects
- Administration tasks as required

**Skills/ Requirements**
- Minimum of 5+ years relevant work experience within an EPCM or other Project Controls environment within either Rail, Infrastructure, Mining or Oil & Gas Industries
- Certificate in Business/Office Administration and/or experience in administration and coordination within a team environment
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office experience, with a focus on MS Excel
- Experience along with a solid working understanding of Project Controls
- Solid reporting and analytical skills including forecasting and data management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience working with relevant project controls documentation (change order requests, schedules, RFI's, construction documentation) and related processes
- Experience developing and implementing appropriate project controls tools, templates and systems
