Advanced Navigation is one of the world’s most ambitious innovators in AI robotics and navigation technology across land, air, sea and space. While our main headquarters are in Sydney, we have multiple research facilities in Australia and sales offices around the world.
As our Head of People & Culture, you will be responsible for developing, motivating and retaining the team at Advanced Navigation. You will act as a champion for our culture and drive the people strategy to reach our mission in revolutionising robotics and navigation. You will be supporting our executive team and team leaders, allowing the company to develop during this exciting growth phase. **Role Responsibilities**:
- Manage and grow a trusted People & Culture function that serves as an advisor and partner to leaders throughout the organisation, and build a strategy that can support our rapid growth both in Australia and internationally.
- Champion our vision for Company Norms and rally the team around this vision and our values.
- Partner with the executive team to build and implement programs across management, recruiting, onboarding, training, feedback and culture that are aligned to, and embody our vision and values.
- Manage human resources needs across the organisation, including managing remunerations reviews in line with company strategy and supporting the Chief Financial Officer to deliver payroll and benefits.
- Maintain and develop KPIs and scorecards, and assist the executive team to prepare quarterly board papers regarding People & Culture.
- Be an expert in Employee Relations matters and have a demonstrated ability to provide consultation across the business on complex issues, supporting staff, managers and executives.
- Build and improve on a suite of bulletproof policies and procedures across our Global offices
- Ensure all staff administration records are effectively maintained.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Bachelor degree of Business - Human Relations
- 10+ years of experience in senior People & Culture or HR business partner roles
- Experience using people/payroll systems such as Employment Hero, Culture AMP and PayScale
- Extensive experience with Australian employment legislation / Fair Work
- Experience working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, with the ability to lead and adapt in a changing business environment
- Exceptional communication & collaboration skills, particularly having experience working with engineering teams and/or research teams.
- Experience with US & UK legislation is nice to have
