**About this role**

As part of the Civil Infrastructure team, this role covers a broad range of skills relating to civil design. You will be a key member of the team where your previous experience in civil drafting and design will aim to enhance the team’s portfolio of skills and expertise in this area.

**What will I do?**
- Ensure that technical and quality requirements and standards of the drawings products are achieved.
- Provide progress information to allow accurate reporting of progress.
- Ensure that the Design Quality procedures are applied and design products comply with the requirements of the Drafting Manual.
- You will be responsible for undertaking design/drafting tasks in order to meet client requirements for the documentation of various civil infrastructure design projects and related areas.
- You will use a combination of standard and modified Drafting methods/techniques in order to solve problems including the use of Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) software.

**What do I bring?**
- Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil or Drafting;
- Relevant industry experience in Civil Drafting / Design with an emphasis on designing roads, drainage, water, sewer and WSUD elements within a consulting business environment;
- Experience in the operation of software design tools including Microstation or AutoCAD. In addition experience using hydraulic modelling packages would be an advantage.
- Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership;
- Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines - and Arup’s related procedures including OH&S
