Due to an internal movement, the position of National Diagnostics Liaison is now available. You will be a member of an exceptional team working to deliver the National diagnostic strategy for the current and future AstraZeneca oncology medicines.

This is a rewarding and challenging role that offers an opportunity to be involved in one of the most exciting portfolios in the industry whilst playing a pivotal role in a team that provides a critical enabling function to the oncology business.

**What you’ll do**

The successful applicant will have proven strategic ability to collaborate with pathology and clinical opinion leaders to develop and execute activities to optimise the provision of timely, high quality diagnostic solutions. You will have a strong background in oncology and knowledge of the registration, regulatory and reimbursement requirements relating to co-dependent diagnostics in this setting. You will possess a strong track record of cross functional collaboration and problem solving with internal and external stakeholders to co-develop diagnostics strategy. You will demonstrate advanced communication and organisations skills as well as excellence in project management.

**Essential for the role**
- Understanding of the market-specific diagnostic testing environment, including the science, process, potential barriers and necessary commercial touch points in developing and implementing a treatment dependant diagnostic solution.
- Have detailed knowledge of the interconnected oncology ecosystem of patients, advocacy groups, regulators, payers & HCPs and their influence on the testing pathway.
- Proven experience with a broad base of external stakeholders including pathologists and diagnostic providers.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, set direction, strategy, generate commitment, balance short and long term needs, constructively resolve issues.
