Sims White is a progressive regional architectural practice proudly based in Toowoomba, specializing in Health Care, Education, Institutional, Residential and Heritage architecture. Formed in 2012, our firm is built on consistent performance and repeat clients. Being in a regional environment, we work on a wide range of projects both in their scale and type. Toowoomba is a vibrant and lively regional centre with a unique climate, closer to Brisbane CBD than Noosa or the Southern end of the Gold Coast. **About the Position - Experienced Drafter or Graduate of Architecture**

Our practice uses REVIT exclusively and so competency with this package is **essential. Applicants no or limited REVIT experience will not be considered. A CAD test may be part of the interview process.**

**About You**
- You will have at least 5 years’ experience working in an architectural office, at least 3 of which must be after completion of your Masters Degree of equivalent.
- Strong REVIT skills, you must be able to document in REVIT
- You will have solid Architectural documenting experience and construction knowledge.
- Working knowledge of the NCC and relevant standards and codes
- Energetic, willing to learn and try new things, and able to fit with and respect the established office culture and personalities.
- A proactive mindset towards business development
- Ability to follow direction, be self-motivated and work both as part of a team and on your own.
- This position is based in our Toowoomba office. Applicants must be prepared to relocate or commute.

The following are desirable, but not essential:

- Graphic design skills and working ability with Adobe Creative Suites
- Report writing skills
- Health Care, Residential, Master planning or Heritage Experience
- Design and Hand Drawing skills
- Educational project experience is essential, particularly in dealing with Independent Schools and the Block Grants Authority
- Being local or having a strong desire to settle in a regional environment

Pay: $73,000.00 - $101,000.00 per year
