We are seeking for an experienced Rick Manager to join our team within the Federal Government Department in Canberra.

The Risk Manager is required to identify and assess LC4 capability risks, manage LC4 Risk reporting, including Issue and Opportunity Register(s), and support the program functional teams in the management and review of risk and issues; and manage risk-treatment plans (and issue management plans) that are de-conflicted across program functional teams and harmonised with the available resources. The LC4 Capability Program Risk Manager is responsible for the identification, evaluation and presentation of capability risks and issues for the LC4 Program. This role works within the Capability Management Office (CMO) supporting the SO1 Capability Management and LC4 Governance Manager.

**Essential Criteria**:
Knowledge of Defence Risk Management Policies, Plans and Manuals.

Understanding and experience of the Capability Lifecycle.

Experience in undertaking Risk Assessments.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Established stakeholder engagement skills.
