This position is a **Casual Position starting with 8-38 hours per week with the potential for more hours. These hours are broken up into a minimum of 2-hour services.**

To be successful for this position you must have the following:

- Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker screening check
- First Aid & CPR
- NDIS Orientation Modules
- COVID-19 Infection Control (Australian Government)
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- **1+ years experience in Disability, Aged Care or Allied Health**. (No formal qualifications are required)
- Manual Driver's license is highly desirable but not required.

**Job Role**

As a disability support worker, you will be required to assist clients in their own homes with daily life activities such as personal care, meal preparation and domestic assistance.

You may be required to provide support with:

- PEG Feeding (Enteral Tube Feeding - Nationally recognised certificate and on-the-job training provided)
- Positive Behaviour Support
- Personal Care (Showering, bathroom assistance & grooming)
- Medication Monitoring - (We provide on-the-job training and nationally recognised certificate)
- Incontinence - (Uridome or Pad changes - Training provided)
- Palliative Care ( Both aged care and aggressive forms of disability)
- Domestic Assistance (Light House Work)
- Meal Preparations
- Social Support

**Shifts Available**

These shifts are available on the Gold Coast, Logan or South Brisbane

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 8-38 per week

**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Bonus
- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
- Performance bonus

COVID-19 considerations:
Covid-19 Vaccination is required as per the current mandates.
Face Masks, Hand Sanitiser and other PPE is supplied.

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification and CPR (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Screening Check (preferred)
- Drivers Licence and Reliable Transport (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
