We are seeking compassionate and skilled **Disability Support Workers** with experience in **mental health** to join our dedicated team.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting participants to live independently in a **Supported Independent Living (SIL)** environment. You’ll provide personalised support, promote daily living skills, and foster a safe, respectful, and empowering home.

Position: Disability Support Worker

Location: Caboolture Area

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide day-to-day support tailored to individual needs, including personal care, community access, and daily living activities.
- Support participants with **mental health challenges**, helping them build resilience, independence, and confidence.
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a safe and supportive home environment.
- Cover a range of shifts including **sleepovers and active night shifts**.

**Requirements**:

- **Relevant qualifications** in Disability, Mental Health, or Community Services.
- Experience supporting people with **mental health conditions** in SIL or similar settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a person-centred approach.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC/Blue Card, First Aid & CPR.
- Reliability, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a difference.
- Passion for exercise and outdoor activities

How to Apply:
**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Disability Support Work: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid and CPR Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
