**About the Role**
They are currently seeking an experienced Business Advisor to join their team in Parramatta with some flexibility to work remotely from home. This is an estimated 6month maternity leave temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.

Working within Business Advisory Division, you will be required to prepare management reports, budgets and forecasts whilst providing advice and insights on complex work issues. You will be an expert user that ensures the accuracy of systems and financial data to support business performance and organisational objectives.

**Responsibilities**
- Collect accurate information and data for detailed reports
- Prepare performance reporting and monthly forecasting analytical models for divisions and cost centres
- Generate routine reporting to support desired business outcomes being achieved
- Contribute to the preparation of the annual budget to facilitate the allocation of funding
- Preparation of briefs, reports and papers related to complex financial issues
- Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships facilitating consultation, partnerships, cohesion and contribution of idea’s
- Make evidence based recommendations to support decision making outcomes
- Bespoke financial analytics and interrogation into financial information
- Contribute to continuous improvement financial administrative processes and Business Intelligence tools
- Successfully manage all General Ledger accounts, month end and year end processes for nominated Divisions whilst reconciling these with financial management reports
- Ensure compliance with Legislative requirements whilst reducing financial and operational risks

**About You**
- Impeccable communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels
- Sound analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite and SAP
- Superior organisational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting, Business Commerce or a relevant discipline
- CPA or CA Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards
- Proven Financial Analyst or Business Partner experience working within a large project portfolio
- Demonstrated business intelligence, financial analysis and financial reporting experience
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
