- Be responsible for collecting recycling materials from our members using a van.
- Responsible and cautious driver.
- Clean We don't run a dirty workspace, you will be responsible for ensuring the decanting space and van are kept clean & tidy. If you aren’t willing to pick up a broom, you aren’t ready for the Sustainable Salons experience.
- Organising freight, couriers, logistics and transport collections.
- Liaising with courier companies and following up on missed courier collections.
- Scheduling and updating (new locations, cancelled locations, ad hoc pick-ups) collections in the assigned territories in coordination with State Sales Managers and/or Customer Success Managers in NZ & Australia when required

We are currently looking for a Collections Transport Driver and Service Coordinator based in Melbourne or the surrounding area. Our depots are located in Derrimut & Melton. This is a brand new role created to support our company's growth. As we grow this role may look a little different to when you started, what an exciting opportunity This role will report directly to the Senior Service Coordinator (indirectly to Operations Manager) and include resource collection, logistics and transport coordination.

We have a total of 3 driving day shifts & 2 home based office days on offer per week.

We work on a fortnightly collection schedule and run all year round - rain, hail or shine.

An average shift would consist of 8-9 hours.

Our vans are 3.5t GVM, therefore a C class driver licence is acceptable.

**Experience & qualifications**
- C-class driver licence or higher
- Good driving experience
- Good communication skills & the ability to take instructions
- Can work with patience, detail and efficiency
- Experience in logistics and/or fleet management
- Tech savvy or willingness to learn (smartphone - we use an App to complete our scheduled runs & computer/laptop for home based work)
- Full work rights in Australia
- Ability to provide proof of vaccination for covid-19
- Ability to provide a Full Driving History Check
- Experience with Salesforce Field Service lightning advantage
- We will provide the vehicle, PPE, full training and all equipment needed to complete the driver collections part of the job._

**Work Environment**
- This is a hybrid role, you will be working from home 2 days a week and 3 days a week on the road driving
- A clean van is a clean office
- There may be occasional travel for team events and conferences
- COVID-19 vaccination is required as you may be required to attend venues where COVID-19 vaccinations are required.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
