The Defence industry is booming, and Pace Appointments QLD are pleased to be in partnership with this high-profile leader within the Defence sector who boast impressive growth year on year. Currently there is an opportunity for a
**Contracts Advisor** to join the Supply Chain Management capability on a permanent basis to provide support and assist across these exciting Defence programs of work.

**Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with Legal, Functional, Engineering and Commercial stakeholders.
- Provide clear and accurate contract interpretation advice to the Supply Chain division working across multiple teams, bodies of work and stakeholder levels.
- Support executing program drafts, negotiate and manage a broad range of commercial agreements.
- Manage a template suite with scheduled review to all documents and their ongoing efficiencies.
- Liaise with in-house legal counsel to resolve complex contract matters
- Provide advice to project managers and other business stakeholders on all contract activities related to their program of work.
- Undertake process and contract template reviews and updates

**Skills & Experience**

For this role our client requires a contracts expert with solid experience across contracts drafting with legal qualifications / experience highly desirable. Demonstrated experience in the delivery of advice on contractual interpretation is all essential.

Although defence sector experience is highly desirable it is not essential, so if you are looking to get into this growth sector and industry this is a great opportunity for professional growth and to work in an environment that’s welcoming, respectful and inclusive.
