In the role of wardsperson, you will be an integral part of a diverse team working towards delivering **outstanding clinical care and results for our patients.**

**The primary responsibilities of this role encompasses, but are not restricted to**:

- Supporting the daily **Operating Suite by assisting with patient positioning, preparing theatres, and maintaining cleanliness while restocking supplies**:

- Providing, arranging and verifying all necessary equipment for theatre lists procedures
- Employing safe techniques for patient and material handling to ensure a secure environment for patients, oneself and team members.
- Upholding infection control standards by adhering to standard protocols and any additional precaution
- Disposing of waste and handling soiled linen appropriately.
- **Theatre terminal cleaning.**

**About You**

To excel in this position, you will need to be self-driven and diligent, capable of following instructions effectively.

**_ Flexibility is crucial, as the role demands working a 5-day rotating schedule, with shifts ranging from as early as 6:30 AM to as late as 2400._**

**Additionally, you will bring**
- Ideally, a certificate III in Operating Theatre Technician Practice or equivalent (Health Services/Aged Care)
- Either holds or is working towards a Certificate III in Health Assistance
- Exceptional customer service skills and exemplary time management abilities
- Self-motivation and proficiency in working efficiently while adhering to instructions.

**Remuneration**:On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $28.71 + superannuation + experience and level of experience and qualifications.
