**About the Role**

Our client is now seeking an experienced
**Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Officer** to join a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible to efficiently measure and manage the receivables and assist with the payables of the organisation.

**Duties**:

- Generate invoices / Credit notes / Statements
- Verify and accurately post all payments to the correct invoice/s
- Reconciliation of accounts receivable ledger, bank accounts, foreign currency payments etc
- Support the month end process - both on the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable side.
- Report on Aged Receivables plus other ad hoc reporting where applicable
- Enter Vendor invoices into the system / Vendor statement reconciliation.
- Enter Supplier Batch payments onto bank

**Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable role.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
- Experience with accounting software (Netsuite experience is a plus)
- Excellent customer service skill
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Accurate and High attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Great team player

Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised.
