- What role will you play?As the Data Risk Manager, you will be responsible for assessing and bringing enterprise critical data usages under governance. This will include understanding and documenting end-to-end data flows and system processes, identifying potential data risks along with mitigating control and escalating data issues, where required. You will also be responsible for recognising opportunities for enhancements of processes and controls.
Your role will manage the implementation of the Enterprise Data Management framework. This includes identifying and assessing data usages, identifying critical data elements and facilitating their approval, defining and assessing business metadata through stakeholder workshops, mapping data lineage, and identifying and assessing data risks and controls. The process also involves identifying data gaps and recommending strategic remediation measures. You’ll also facilitate data governance business overview sessions to cover essential topics such as the framework, principles, procedures, metrics, and tools as well as coaching and mentoring for members of the Data Governance Team to ensure the framework's successful implementation.

- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels across the organisation.
- The ability to work autonomously, manage stakeholders, and deliver on multiple streams of work simultaneously.
- Previous experience in data governance or data management.
- Good project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Relevant business, quantitative or IT related degree qualification.
- Enterprise Data Management tooling experience, e.g. Collibra.Data Profiling and Data Quality solutions, e.g. Informatica IDQ and agile delivery experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
