Quality Control Officer

This is a great opportunity for a Quality Control officer to join an Australian owned business within the pharmaceutical and nutrition industries. This position reports to the Quality Manager.

Key responsibilities of the job is ensuring compliance with our Quality System as per current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and standard work practices, which include:

- Sampling and inspection of raw materials, packaging materials and finished products
- Tests the raw materials, finished products and R&D trial samples in accordance with the established analytical procedures
- Prepares reagents and standard solutions for analysis
- Calibrates laboratory equipment in accordance with the established procedures
- Performs stability tests of the products and R&D trial samples in accordance with the established procedures
- Assists the Quality Assurance Manager with the documentation control regarding quality department as per ISO 22000:2018, HACCP and TGA requirements
- Responsible for GMP inspections and ensures that strict adherence to GMP rules ,
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of quality systems, documentation, training, batch records, complaint handling and reporting.

Education and Experience:

- Degree in Science.
- Previous experience in the Pharmaceutical industry in a QC role is desirable
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality systems

- Flexibility to deal with a change in priorities at short notice

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
