**The role**: As the Principal Technical Consultant, you will manage large scale complex technical environments used in the support of Enterprise Systems Integration platforms, you will be responsible for defining and implementing environment governance, processes and roadmaps.Further responsibilities include:

- manage risk and escalated issues; help ensure value delivery and help drive relentless improvement. You will have an Agile mindset and a keen interest in software engineering across a range of technologies.

Are you right for this role?To secure this role you will be required to demonstrate direct experience with Windows & Linux Operating systems, Configuration management tools such as Puppet, Load balancing tools such as HA Proxy, Power shell scripting and high availability solutions such as DRDB.Furthermore, the below is highly desirable:

- Experience in the installation and maintenance of Dev Ops tools including Atlassian, ELK Stake
- Experience with large-scale server administration tools for Configuration management, Clustering DRDB and managing Vendor VM Cloud infrastructure is highly desirable
- Experience with
- Database administration technologies such as PostgreSQL is highly desirable
- At least one Operating Systems - Linux, Windows, Solaris, AIX, BSD, Netware
- at least one Scripting &/or Programming Language - Python, VBS, Perl, C, C++, Prologue, Shell (Unix & Windows)
