**about the role**

Chevron Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Site Services Supervisor to join the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team. Reporting to the SCM Operations Manager, this will be a temporary role for a duration of up to 2 years (covering a leave absence) and will be based in Barrow Island on a FIFO roster of 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off.

The SCM Site Services Supervisor is responsible for the successful delivery of site based SCM services on Barrow Island supporting Operations, Maintenance and Turnarounds. The scope of services includes camp and catering services, waste management, off-plot facilities management including civil works and vehicle maintenance, fuel, security, personnel transport, warehouses, logistics and Turnaround Support Services.

Key responsibilities include:
**Operational Excellence**
- Ensuring individual, Business Partner and SCM compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory and corporate health, environmental, and safety requirements.
- Provides leadership and reinforces/promotes safety & loss prevention to SCM Teams and contractors.
- Participate in incident and accident investigation(s) as and when needed.
- Ensure Incident Free Operations (IFO) through compliance with Chevron’s Operational Excellence Management Systems (OEMS) processes. Adhere to the Tenets of Operational Excellence.
- Ensure and participate in the use of Managing Safe Work Process, Stop Work Authority, Field Safeguard Assurance and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
- Acts as on-site Emergency Management Team Logistics Section Chief.

**Site Services Management**
- Own the delivery of SCM services at Barrow Island. Provides supervision and direction to SCM teams to ensure safe, reliable, efficient and cost-effective services are being performed.
- Responsible for oversight of all site services contracts supporting operations and initial point of contact for contract escalation for key contracts. Support Perth based contract owners to ensure contractor compliance to contract intent to deliver effective services.
- Own site-based Asset relationships, representing SCM as the single point of contact and permanent member of the Gorgon and Wheatstone Site Leadership Teams.
- Identifying and analysing Competitive Performance opportunities and efficiencies.

**High Performance Organisation**:

- Set direction to develop a capable and competent workforce with focus on learning new and more efficient ways of servicing the site.
- Ensure strong teaming internally to leverage synergistic benefits across assets, with other functions, with SCM and also outside of SCM across base business operations, turnarounds and projects.
- Lead and develop a diverse, inclusive and engaged workforce to deliver and sustain leading performance.
- Actively seeks and actions opportunities to standardise SCM reporting requirements to others in the business.
- Ensure strong coordination with Perth based SCM teams to ensure functional excellence in site-based operations, processes & KPls.
