Data Analyst

**About the role**
- Utilize SQL and other relevant tools to extract, transform, and analyse large datasets to support business objectives.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and availability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Create insightful visualizations and dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to communicate complex findings in a clear and actionable manner.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data, providing valuable insights and recommendations to optimize business strategies.
- Perform advanced data analysis to uncover opportunities for process improvements, efficiency enhancements, and revenue growth.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and translate them into analytical projects.
- Collaborate with data engineers and architects to ensure seamless data integration and quality.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analysis, visualization, and technology.

**About you**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Two to three years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a retail, travel, or ecommerce environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex queries for data extraction and manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake for data warehousing and GCP for data storage and processing.
- Proficiency in at least one data visualization tool: Tableau or Power BI. Experience with both is a plus.
- Solid understanding of data analysis techniques, statistical concepts, and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration concepts.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and high-quality results.
