Maintenance Supervisor

Wagners are currently seeking a suitably qualified Maintenance Supervisor who has a strong, personal commitment to safety and is willing to expand on their current skills.
- Perform detailed Root Cause Analysis on equipment failures, implement corrective actions to minimize reoccurrence of plant downtime.
- Build a preventive maintenance culture on fixed plant equipment to reduce unplanned repairs and breakdowns and maximize cost benefits by developing, implementing, and maintaining the requirement framework, tools, processes, and procedures.
- Set priorities, provide specific and technical advice, and support maintenance activities.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all plants and equipment.
- Work with operations teams to identify and prioritize maintenance needs and develop strategies to minimize plant and equipment downtime.
- Development and adherence to budget targets to achieve cost effective asset life plan and to maximize asset utilization via improved equipment reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, downtime, and repair costs.
- Be committed to the quality improvement process by participating in improvement initiatives and making suggestions for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Be familiar with and undertake all work per relevant policy and legislation.
- Follow directives, obey WHS rules, and be responsible for your safety and the safety of others.
- Any other duties, projects or responsibilities as directed

- Staff at all levels at Wagner
- External stakeholders
- All contractors that are on site

***Key skills and Experience**
- Minimum 5-year trade qualification either as a fitter or industrial electrician.
- Experience in managing fixed plant assets and facilities.
- Experienced in developing and managing an asset management plan.
- Demonstrated advanced competency in Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships within the group.
- Ability to liaise at all levels and build strong rapport with all staff, contractors, and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of budgeting processes and good analytical skill.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to contribute effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, friendly, approachable, and always willing to assist both colleagues and visitors with a can-do positive attitude.
- Proactive with the ability to work without Supervision and take direction accurately.
