**About the role

The purpose of this role is to provide leadership, direct supervision, and coordination for the delivery of Food Services across West Moreton Health (WMH): Ipswich (including the Mental Health Acute Inpatient Service), Ripley and The Park Centre for Mental Health. This position is accountable to the Manager Food Services Ipswich and is responsible for workplace injury management, purchasing and procurement operations and contributing to the operational and strategic direction of the Food Services department across WMH.

About you

High level knowledge and experience working within Food Services
Ability to lead, develop and manage teams with a quality and change management focus
Effective interpersonal skills with ability to assist, lead and manage a large team.
High level of interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively negotiate, consult and build rapport with a range of stakeholders.
Strong wrtitten and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively across a range of electronic mediums.
An understanding of the need for confidentiality and the ability to maintain confidentiality of all matters related to West Moreton Hospital and Health Service

Mandatory Requirements:
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
