**Grasshopper Soccer Sports Coach**
Grasshopper Soccer’s aim is to enable any child in the community both boys and girls 2-12 years of age to play outdoors, get active, build confidence, develop motor skills, learn new skills and enjoy sport in a fun and non-competitive environment.
For over 20 years, Grasshopper Soccer has been providing child development programs throughout Australia using soccer as the tool to do so.
As a Grasshopper Soccer senior coach, you will facilitate our fun children’s programs.
Your key responsibilities will include;
- Lead proven weekly programs for children in specific age groups from 2-12 years of age
- Setting up/ packing away the training area
- Delegating tasks to assistant coaches
- Interacting with parents and take enquiries
- Engaging and coaching children
- Be a mentor/ role model
**About you**
You enjoy sport and are passionate about working with children. You see the importance and benefits of children participating in sport at a young age. You engage and build rapport easily with children and parents alike. You also understand the importance of a community spirit.
**In addition you also possess;**
- A bright, bubbly & outgoing personality,
- Able to relate to children and parents
- Have excellent customer service/ communication skills
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Be reliable
- Have previous experience coaching and/or working with children
- Commit to an 8 week program commencing on May 4th, 2025
- A police check and working with children’s card
- Access to own transport, and
- Love working with children
- Be comfortable with delegating tasks
- Inspire assistant coaches
