**Finance Systems and Data Analyst - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract**

**What can you expect?**

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Financial Analyst with strong systems experience to join our Finance team at Marsh McLennan on a 12 Month Fixed Term contract. Reporting to the FP&A Manager for the Pacific region, you will support our Marsh business with the accurate and timely production of reporting and data analysis.

This role is critical in supporting the Pacific region Finance team, providing functional support to business processes and working with key stakeholders.

**We will count on you to**:

- Code and map data in fiduciary system
- Automate, standardise and implement process improvements
- Prepare monthly revenue trackers
- Provide monthly revenue analytics and commentaries
- Translate business requirements into software/technical requirements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Post journals including accrual and deferrals
- Complete month end reporting
- Other financial modelling/projects/reporting, as required

**What we would like you to have**:

- Degree in Commerce or Accounting or equivalent
- Experience in Insurance or Banking and Finance industry
- Advanced Excel skills including ability to analyse and interpret data
- Prior experience with Oracle EPM and Hyperion
- Experience with coding and mapping data in a fiduciary system
- Confident communication skills and enjoys partnering with the business
- Proven track record in managing multiple tasks, dealing with competing priorities, working under pressure, assuming responsibilities and delivering according to timetable
- Power BI/dashboard experience, beneficial but not essential
- Programming experience in SQL or VBA, beneficial but not essential
