**About the role**
We currently have a vacancy for a Production Team Member to join our Operations Team based in Oakleigh.

Reporting to the Cell Team Leader and Cell Coordinator, this role is responsible for assembling components into finished goods as per the instruction from the Team Leader.

You will:

- Assemble Mortice locks and accompany other components
- Operate associated equipment in accordance with SOPs
- Follow QA procedure compliance
- Fill out appropriate check sheets and/or SPC
- Use measuring equipment accurately

**About You**

You will have:

- Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
- The ability to read technical drawings and plans
- Strong focus in Work, Health and Safety
- Excellent attention to detail and be able to follow tasks and directions
- The ability to work as part of a team and be eager to learn
- Perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and experience in 5S as well as Continuous Improvement processes
