We’re looking for a **Planned Maintenance Technician** to join our team at SSI SCHAEFER - a global leader in intralogistics and automated storage solutions. Based on-site with a key client, you’ll support the maintenance, reliability, and performance of cutting-edge automated warehouse systems.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Performing **preventative maintenance** and **system overhauls** both on-site and in the workshop.
- Responding to **breakdowns and shutdowns**, ensuring rapid resolution to minimise downtime.
- Completing work orders and updates using **CMMS** (Computerised Maintenance Management System).
- Ensuring all repairs meet **OEM standards** and are completed safely and efficiently.
- Assisting with **training and onboarding** of new technicians.
- Working with our international **Helpdesk and R&D teams** to resolve technical or design-related issues.
- Maintaining accurate records of spare parts usage and recommending inventory level adjustments.
- Participating in team meetings, site audits, and **continuous improvement** processes such as SWMS, Take5, 5S, and setup documentation.
- Supporting stocktake, goods receiving, and packing in the **maintenance stores** area.
- Promoting and contributing to a **strong safety culture** at all times.

**What You’ll Bring**
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Certifications in Working from Heights, Rescue from Heights, and First Aid.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in automation or a similar trade-based maintenance environment.
- Strong ability in fault finding and diagnosis on mechatronic systems.
- Confidence interpreting technical drawings and manuals.
- Skilled in using Computerised Maintenance software and general computer literacy.
- High level of attention to detail, organisational skills, and commitment to process.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a customer-first mindset.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
