**A Day in the Life
**Located onsite in our Huntingwood Depot, the In-House Repair Technician will provide technical support in areas such as operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement or post-market development.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Performs in-house servicing on a wide variety of medical devices at the S&R Workshop as per AS/NZ 3551:2021.
- Performs maintenance, testing and calibration of repaired medical devices.
- Performs loan return testing and assists with service loan supply management.
- Diagnoses electrical, mechanical, software and systems failures using established procedures.
- Prepares reports for analysis of product failure trends and serviceability issues.
- May communicate with field-based technicians for details helpful to failure diagnostics or repair and may include direct client communication (further queries, quotes. Etc).
- Performs new product testing as part of the Australian Pre-delivery inspection process.

**Must Have**
- Requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; requires completion of undergraduate in Engineering (Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical or similar) to prior work experience.
- Being able to put patient safety first by having a quality mindset

**Nice to Have**
- Requires basic job knowledge of systems, techniques and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.
- Requires basic knowledge and understanding of AS/NZ 3551:2021 and ISO 13485:2016
- Being a proactive thinker and problem solver
- Having a strong collaborative approach and an ability to work across different teams
- Excellent communication skills
- A willingness and enthusiasm to learn new concepts with a growth mindset
- User experience with SMAX and SAP
