We are seeking a **compassionate, skilled, and resilient Disability Support Worker** to support a participant with high-level personal care needs. This role includes daily assistance with **personal hygiene**, **manual handling (including hoisting)**, **medication administration** (including **suppositories**), support with **basic computer skills**, and managing behaviours, including **verbal aggression**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide high-quality personal care and hygiene support, including toileting, showering, and grooming.
- Perform safe manual handling practices, including hoists and other mobility aids.
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with care plans, including suppositories, where required.
- Manage and de-escalate incidents of verbal aggression in a calm, professional manner, using proactive behaviour support strategies.
- Promote independence, dignity, and choice in daily routines and decision-making.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes, incident reports, and daily records.
- Follow the participant’s support plan, including behavioural and risk management strategies.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $33.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
